For the densest foliage and heaviest berries, plant Burford holly in full sun and well-drained, organically rich, mildly acidic soil. They need protection from drying winds. Poorly draining locations where the soil remains wet for extended periods expose them to Phytophthora and other root rot infections.
- Light Needs: Partial to full sun
- Needs regular watering - weekly, or more often in extreme heat.
- Care Difficulty: Easy Care Plant
